So I ran into a problem today. Worked in Chrome, didnt work in Firefox and IE. Links inside JqueryUI dialog didnt open. Actually they caused some weird blocking of Jquery itself.

The case:

0. The core:

Jquery 1.4.2

Jquery 1.8.2

ASP.NET

1. Calling the Jquery UI dialog:

3. Result:

Dialog opens nicely, the link visible.

Any click on the link inside dialog causes freezing. The Jquery does something... indefinetly.

Item 2 changed to:
